The purpose of FORE is to reduce or eliminate the dependence on others of the mentally and physically handicapped through fulfilling their personal and vocational potential and creating productive, healthy and contributing members of society. FORE is a sheltered work/activity center that gives training, specific skills, social confidence and personal guidance to adults who are disabled in their regular work ability, and need rehabilitation. Tests are given to find areas of greatest strength. The Workshop does contract work for local industries and individuals. Activities include packaging, light assembly work, collating, chair rushing, furniture refinishing and many other projects. It's at Remington (P. 0. Box 528). Call Steve Colvin, Director, 703-439-3505, for information.
