The concept of FlbH originated in England 15 years ago when church members there decided to make practical use of Christ’s teaching: “Love thy\neighbor as thyself.” They took as their symbol the sign of the FISH as it was scratched in the sands by early Christians to identify each other.
An American pastor, Robert Howell, a native of the Blue Ridge Mountains, brought the idea to America where there are now more than 3000 chapters of FISH.
