The marriage of Miss Jennifer Denise Ritenour to Aubrey Joseph North, Jr. was solemnized Saturday, June 19, at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church at Huntly. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lonnie Ritenour of Front Royal and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North of Huntly. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Malcolm Maples before an altar decorated with arrangements of mixed summer flowers. Mrs. Sandra Hawkins was organist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory satapeau, designed on princess lines and fashioned with a high neckline, sheer yoke and full bishop sleeves. Re-embroidered Alencon lace enhanced the bodice, collar, cuffs and front skirt panel then encircled the hemline which ended in a chapel train. Her headpiece was of matching lace accented with seed pearls and the fingertip veil of illusion was edged with lace. She wore an heirloom cameo brooch and carried a cascade of pink carnations.
