COMMUNITY Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services Boards across Virginia wrote plans for mental health services for their respective catchment areas^_
Nine services should be available in each catchment area: inpatient, outpatient, and emergency (24-hour) services; partial hospitalization; alternative housing, such as group homes or halfway houses; diagnostic services for all groups, including elderly people and children; consultation and education; information and referral and rehabilitation services.
