University of Virignia Hospital to see their infant daughter, Erin DeAn. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Mrs. Mabel McCalahan, Dorothy Swaine, Patty Atkins and Frances Leake of Warrenton. Mrs. Ruth Perkins who has been recuperating at the home of her sister, Mrs. H. S. O’Brien in McLean returned to her home here Tuesday. Cindy Cumins of Longwood College, Farmville is expected the last of the week for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Atkins visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Judd and Mrs. Estelle Leake in Luray Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer attended the Updike-Boone wedding in Black Rock, Pa. Saturday.

A Christmas program of scripture, accompanied 4>y pantomime and song, was presented by the young people of Washington Baptist Church last evening in the church. The Rev. David Moore provided readings during the presentation.
Pam Clater played the part of Mary while Eddie Wayland was Joseph. Angels were Aney Massie, Edie Eastham, Jennifer Tomeden and Stephanie Torneden; Chris Hawkins, Louie Moore, Michael Wayland and Tom Massie were shepherds. The three Wise Men were portrayed by John Deal, Jay Alther, and Richie Eastham.
John Deal and Jackie Estes were the lighting engineers and music was provided by pianists Aleta Adkins and Mrs. Bonnie Williams. Others assisting with the production were Judy Deal, Ginger and Robin Estes, Sheila Estes, Pam Estes, Tammy Fritts, Liz Grigsby, Beth Hobson, Michael Hudson, Sandra Hudson, Shelly Kidwell, Patty Payne, Lou Racer and Sue Racer, who were members of the choir.
