Attends Ballet
On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Girl Scouts went to the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D. C., to see a performance of The Nutcracker Suite, presented by the Washington Ballet Company. The costumes were colorful and very beautiful and the performance was enjoyed by every girl.
We would like to thank C. E. Johnson, Jr., who gave some apples, the Women’s Society of the Episcopal Church, who helped us pay for the bus, and all the parents who accompanied us and helped.—rLynn Jones, Cadette Troop 502

Church Notices
A Christmas pageant entitled “What Child Is This” will be presented at the Sperryville United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited. There will be a Candlelight Communion service on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 at 8:30 p.m.
Candlelight services will be held at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 at 7:00 Regular church services on Christmas Day, Dec. 25 at 11:15 to 12:00. There will be no Sunday School.

Five students froiti Rappahannock County made the Dean’s List for the fall quarter at Lord Fairfax Community College, according to an announcement by college president Dr. William H. McCoy.
Barry Adkins, Mark Bailey, Richie Burke, Peter Skowronski and James Wayland achieved at least a 3.2 honor point average for credit loads of 12-quarter hours or more.
