Recycling

To the editor:
The Recycling Center is receiving paper and aluminum only. Until a market is created for recycled glass or tin, we have to discontinue accepting glass jars and tin cans. We hope to again take glass within six months or a year.
There is a large paper container for your newspapers, magazines, cardboard and printed materials. Please do not throw in wax-coated paper, plastics or trash that should be burned. Put all aluminum in the barrels beside the paper containers.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting this endeavor to make recycling a way of life. The proceeds from the project will go towards the Washington Fire Company building fund.
Thank you,
THE WASHINGTON RECYCLING CENTER
