Lloyd Fitzhugh was taken from his home in Spertyville to Culpeper Memorial, Hospital by the Spertyville Rescue Squad on Dec. 13. On Dec. 16, Mrs. Mabel Atkins was taken from her home in Old Hollow to Culpeper Memorial by this unit. This squad transported Kinsey Atkins from his home in Sperryville to Winchester Memorial Hospital on Dec. 19; on Dec. 20, they were called to an accident east of Sperryville, but their services were not used.

Wigenton
Edward McClellan Wigenton, 67, of Front Royal died December 19, 1977 in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late George Wigenton and Sarah Brown Wigenton. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a native of Rappahannock County.
Survivors include his wife, Lulu Phillips Wigenton; a brother, Willie Wigenton of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Louise lackson and Grace Barnes of Reading, Pa. and Alice Edwards of Amissville.
A funeral service will be held Friday from the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill, conducted by the Rev. James Price. Interment will be in Amissville Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church an hour before the service. Maddox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Silvey
Funeral services for Milton Anderson Silvey of Amissville were conducted at the graveside Monday afternoon at the Amissville United Methodist Church cemetery by the Rev. Ray Crockett.
Mr. Silvey died Thursday, December 15, 1977, in Staunton.
He was a native of Amissville and the son of the late James J. and Fannie A. Silvey.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Julia S. Luttrell of San Diego, CA. i-1
