Investigator Ashby Olinger went to Rappahannock County last Thursday seeking Bucy.
He searched the house near Sperryville where Bucy reportedly was living and found some of the silverware.
“He found some of the silverware buried in a snowbank,” Sheriff Cox said. “While he was there, Bucy showed up. Olinger detained him until the Rappahannock Sheriff (W. A. Buntin) arrived.”
Ralls was charged the same day in Prince William County jail where he was being held on unrelated charges. Stanley was arrested Friday in Culpeper County.
All three men face charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny.
When they appeared in General District Court Monday for preliminary hearings, their hearings were postponed until next Thursday (Feb. 9) so they could retain counsel.
Bond on each of the three men was raised from $7500 to $15,000.
