The minimum weight for the Foxhunter’s plate at the Casanova Point-to-Point has been changed to 145 pounds.
A foxhunter’s race has been added to the Rappahannock Point-to-Point, and horses will carry 155 pounds with hunting tack. This race will be run over a course different from the rest of the Rappahannock meet.
Rappahannock has also added a pony race for juniors to be run at three quarters of a mile. If there are enough entries, the race will be split allowing the younger riders and smaller ponies more equal competition.
A flat race is the only addition to the race card at the Blue Ridge Point-to-Point March 11. The Warren ton Hunt has made no changes in the races run last year.
The Piedmont Point-toPoint will also run the same races as last year.
