The junior races at the Middleburg Point-to-Point have been changed to pony races this year. No horses will be allowed. Ponies under 13.2 hands will run about one half mile, and large ponies will run about three quarters of a mile.
The Middleburg Point-toPoint this year will offer a flat race designed for the “hunt meeting people,” and horses will run three quarters of a mile. Entry fee for this race is $25.
The Old Dominion Hounds have added two junior races, similar to those to be run at Middleburg.
The Oatlands Point-toPoint which ends the pointto-point season April 16, plans to run the same races as last year.
