The Varsity made an outstanding performance, winning by skillful shooting and a strong defense. The game score was 78-75. With the score standing at 74-75, in their favor, Danny Jett was fouled in the last three seconds. Danny sunk both foul shots and in the remaining three seconds, Gary Settle stole the ball from the Marroons and swished in a bucket, ending the game. Way to go fellows! Leading scorer was Danny Jett with 27 big ones and Greg Stump pumped in 19.
The next two games will be at home with William Monroe Thursday, February 2 and the following night the opponent is Strasburg. Let’s win. Panthers!
