Exams are finally over after all of our extra free snow days. Everyone is now trying to get back into the same routine again. The school’s gone practically wild. I think sitting in the classroom and seeing snow on the ground outside does something to us.
Last Wednesday, January 25, the Golden Panthers traveled to Clarke County. The Eagles were met by quite a surprise as the Panthers walked away with two victories.
In the JV game, the team was missing Gary Leake and things didn’t seem too much better with Greg Bright hurt. Playing for these two starters were Jeff Jenkins and John Jenkins who did a great job. Jeff had to guard the leading scorer on the Clarke County team and held him to just 3 points. Both guys had five rebounds each.
