Mrs. Thomas Leake was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital from her home in Sperryville May 2 by the Sperryville Rescue Squad. On May 3, this unit was called to the George Jenkins home on Rt. 231, where they applied first aid, though their transportation services were refused. Also on May 3, the Flint Hill Rescue Squad carried Mrs. Emma Settle from her home on Rt. 522 near Sperryville to Warren Memorial Hospital. Andrew Lewis was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital from his home near Flint Hill and back again by this squad on May 5.
Reunion Dance
The Eighth Annual Reunion Dance of the George Washington Carver Regional High School will be held on Saturday, May 27, at the Fauquier County National Guard Armory, Warrenton. Music will be provided by the First Life Band and Show and Brown Ltd.
