In loving memory of my mother, Ellen G. Jenkins, on Mother's Day. Mother's Day I know should be A happy day of the year, But for all of us it will be sad Because my mom is not here. She passed away over a year ago And tears for her we still shed, Because we lost the dearest mom Anyone could ever have. So as we visit your grave on Mother's Day And place some flowers there, We'll bow our heads and just for you We'll say a special prayer And ask the Lord up above To see to it for all of us You have the happiest Mother's Day ever And be blessed with lots of love.
We love you and miss you.
