Truman Keesey of Washington was elected as representative at large from Northern Virginia to the Temporary Virginia Council of Senior Citizens.
Virginia Representatives of organizations affiliated with the National Council of Senior Citizens met at the Holiday Inn in Richmond on Saturday May 6, to form the Temporary Council. At a future date, the National Council will call a convention to formalize the Virginia organization.
In addition to Northern Virginia representative at large, Keesey was chosen as chairman of the public relations and publicity committee and as cochairman of the legislation committee. I
