“It’s in the best interest of the county not to pass this ordinance, stated Charles Foster. He maintained that passage would not control people driving up and down county roads, hunting from automobiles.
“We need Mr. Bankston’s cooperation and he needs ours,” Foster continued. If the proposed ordinances are passed on Bankston’s "say so,” Foster warned the Supervisors that “the good hunters will feel like he’s taking away their rights and privileges” and will then stop reporting violations of hunting laws.
