Home Robbed
The home of Laurie Marshall at Sperryville was burglarized and articles valued in excess of two thousand dollars were taken. To gain entry, the front door was forced open. Among articles taken were paintings, antique trunk, porch swing, table, pots and pans, rugs.
The b re akin occurred in the last two weeks of April and is being investigated by Sheriff W. A. Buntin.
County Growth
Rappahannock County issued 11 building permits in March, three in Feburary and none in January for a total of 14 to date in 1978, according to the monthly news letter from the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission.
Within the ninth planning district, Rappahannock and Madison Counties showed the least housing growth. Culpeper has issued 59 building permits this year, Fauquier 85, Orange 38 and Madison 13. There have been no occupancy permits issued in 1978 in Rappahannock. Fauquier issued 52, Culpeper 35. Madison 22 and Orange 26.
