Heavy rains, winds, hail and a twister assaulted the Amisavitla area Monday afternoon resulting in damage to buildings and trees and cutting off electric service for al long as five hours in some places. The first storm occurred about 2:30 or 3 p.m. with heavy rain and winds. Shortly after 4 o'clock a severe electrical storm began followed by rain, hail and a howling twister.
