Dave Moore questioned the morality of the Board’s decision in allowing working conditions for the sheriffs deputies to continue as thev are. He criticized the Supervisors’ reliance on “majority opinion’’ as justification for budgetary constraints. On issues where a moral question is involved, said Moore, it’s the Supervisors’ responsibility to decide, regardless of how the majority of voters feel.
Supervisors Clarence Baldwin disagreed, stating that he had been elected by the majority and would continue to abide by their wishes.

The annual Flint Hill community picnic will be held this Sunday, June 25, at the Flint Hill fire hall at 5 p.m. All are invited to attend and are asked to bring a covered dish. Lemonade will be furnished.
