Celebration
Planned
A mammouth July Fourth Celebration is planned in the Town of Washington with a craft fair and sale, food and drinks on sale, games, fun and amusements for everyone and all are invited to attend. The activities will go on all day on Gay Street. In addition, all of the shops in the town will be open.
Booths for craft sales or other sales may be obtained for $7.50 for the day and charity or benefit sales booths may be secured without charge. For a reservation contact Fran Eldred at 675-3385. Booth rentals are open to everyone and the public is extended an invitation to attend or participate.

Meeting
The Rappahannock School Board will hold a special year-end meeting on Wednesday, June 28, in the elementary school library at 8 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to allocate all remaining funds in the 19771978 school budget since money not spent by June 30, the end of the fiscal year, can not be carried over for use in the following year.
