Miss Harriet Fern Racer and Thomas Lee Kindall were married Sunday, June 11, 1978, in an afternoon ceremony on the lawn at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Edith Baker of Washington. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Racer of Sperryville and the late Robert Racer. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John William Kindall, Sr. of Washington.
Traditional wedding music was presented by Miss Tara Pugh of Orangi cousin of the bride.
Given in marriage by her brother, Walter M. Jenkins, the bride wore a formal white gown and a white picture trimmed with streamers and a white rose. She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Miss Patsy Kindall, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She wore a formal gown of mint green and carried a bouquet of white daisies tied with mint green ribbons.
