Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly held its End of the Year Exercises before a capacity crowd in the school auditorium on Tuesday evening. The program included a procession of students and faculty, an address by the guest speaker, William Carrigan, a presentation by the Wakefield Chorus, and the awarding of prizes to students for outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities.
In his opening remarks, the school Administrator William Lynn traced the progress and development of Wakefield during the school’s first five years of existence, and announced plans for a new building program and expansion of the school through the senior high grades.
