Atkins
Frank Lee Atkins of Sperryvillc, 85, died July 18, 1978, in a traffic crash in Fauquier County. He was a retired farmer and a native of Rappahannock County. He was the son of the late Marion A. and Laura Bell Atkins.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah Atkins; a son, Elmer Atkins and a daughter, Mrs. Florine Estes, all of Sperryvillc; four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Stella Jenkins, Mrs. Nellie Dodson and Mrs. Lizzie Dodson, all of Front Royal and Mrs. Ellen Dodson, Stephens City, two brothers, Gilbert Atkins of Front Royal and Raymond Atkins of Strasburg. A graveside service will be conducted today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the Washington Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. John Burke. Pallbearers will be William Sisk, John Eubank, Jonas Jenkins, Alson Atkins, Roger Atkins and Hugh S. Atkins.
