The Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals, with Jim Massie as acting chairman, zipped through a short agenda at Thursday's meeting and issued three special use permits in near record time.
The Board approved an application from Mary Beth Martin to operate a Montessori school on Fodderstack road about midway between Washington and Flint Hill. Mrs. Martin’s special use permit limits class size to a maximum of 15. The school will serve children two and a half to five years of age in classes that will be held three days per week.
