According to Snead, Granville Eastham was a student of the Rappahannock County school system and a graduate of one of its high schools. “Several years ago, he returned to the county from Falls Church where he served as mayor and a member of the Town Council for a number of years,” the Judge noted. ‘‘He has demonstrated his interest in the the county and its young people by his leadership in providing a recreational area for the county and by his work on other county projects. Presently he has a son in the Rappahannock public school system. He is also well qualified for membership on the School Trustee Electoral Board," Snead stated.
Snead acknowledged the dedicated and faithful services given by Muth. Browning and Johnson in the past years and expressed gratitude and appreciation of , their efforts on behalf of the ,, people of Rappahannock. He also noted his appreciation of the “interest, comments and expressions of the public concerning the appointments to the School Trustee Electoral Board.”
"All of these expressions and recommendations have been considered and have been helpful in making the appointments," the Judge concluded.
