Davis repeated that the Supervisors hadn’t authorized legal fees for the BZA over SI,800. If the BZA members have incurred a debt beyond that amount, “then I don’t think you can legally pay it,” he warned the Board.

On motion from Supervisor Butch Eastham, the Supervisors unanimously approved payment of SI,800 on the BZA's legal bill, stipulating that the first SI,602 be applied to fees in the DeMent case with the balance — S198—to go towards the $2,737 ski area suit costs.
