Services for Mrs. Sally Lee Hitt of Castleton were held last Friday in the Clore Funeral Home Chapel. Culpeper, with the Rev. Milton Switzer officiating. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
Mrs. Hitt. 66. died Wednesday. October 4, 1978, at her home following a short illness.
A housewife and a lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Gene and Mamie Whorton Fincham. Mrs. Hitt was predeceased by one son, Charles Hitt, Jr., who died in 1976.
She is survived by her husband, Charles William Hitt of Castleton; two sons, James H. Hitt of Castleton and Glenn H. Hitt of Vienna; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon
Rhonda Douvris
Rhonda Jan Douvris, 26, of Amissville, died Sept. 29 at Washington Hospital Center.
She is survived by her husband Paul James Douvris.
Funeral services and interment were conducted Oct. 4 at Winthrop, Minn. Arrangements were by Joynes Funeral Home.
