Farmer nominations of candidates for the upcoming ASC committee election are very important. Farmers should petition for and elect those individuals they feel would do a good job as ASC committeemen. The election of concerned farmers to positions on ASC committees is necessary for good administration of farm programs.
Taylor further explained that the county ASCS office welcomes all valid petitions. The opportunity to nominate, vote, and be elected to office is guaranteed to all fanners regardless of race, religion, sex, color, or national origin.
