Marine Staff Sergeant Janies Prudhum Jr., son of Margret L. and James Prudhum Sr. of 63E Route 1, Castleton. has completed the Mobile Communication Central Technician Course.
The six-week course was conducted at the Marine Corps CommunicationElectronics School, Twentynine Palms, Calif. The course was designed to provide students with the working knowledge of the AN-TGC-37 mobile communication system used by the Marine Corps. Students received instruction on the operation, installation, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of the system.
Prudhum joined the Marine Corps in December 1971.
