Mrs. Ethel Hitt celebrated her birthday Friday at her home. Among the guests were her daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Gaines of Flint Hill and Mrs. Hilda Eckardt of Rixeyville. Spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jacobs are his sister and niece, Mrs. Floyd Barrett and Mrs. Charles Mason, both of Florida. Monday, they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Jacobs in Amissville and Tuesday, they visited Mrs. Jacobs’ brother, Lester Jacobs in Orange.
