Meeting
The Virginia Association of Biological Farmers will meet Saturday, August 4, at Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave, in the student lounge in building G. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end about 3 p.m. Interested persons are invited to attend.
This is the regular summer quarterly meeting which will be devoted to an exchange of information among the members, followed by a talk on biological dynamic farming by Dr. Herbert H. Koepf.
Dr. Koepf is director of the School of Agriculture at Emerson College, Forest Row, Sussex, England. He is well known both in the U. S. and England as an experienced practitioner of the biological dynamic approach to the land.
The VABF has been organized in Virginia for several years. Its purpose is to bring together farmers and gardeners who are interested in what is usually understood by the term “organic gardening.”
