Country Supper
Virginia Senator and Mrs. John W. Warner will host the Virginia Federation of Republican Women’s third annual Atoka country supper on Saturday, September 8, at their home, Atoka Farm, in Fauquier County near Middleburg.
All nine Republican presidential candidates have been invited and early responses indicate that at least four of them will attend, according to Mrs. Betty Long of Annandale, chairman of the VFRW fund raising event. Co-chairmen of the 1979 Atoka country supper, which is fast becoming a Republican tradition in Virginia, are Mrs. Ruth Hotinger of Fairfax and Mrs. Nellie Long of Edinburg.
