The board voted unanimously to build fivefoot wide ramps of concrete. Bids for the ramp construction, site preparation and electrical work were authorized for advertisement with the bids to be opened on July 24 at noon in the School Board office.
At two June meetings, the School Board approved a list of priority expenditures for money left over in the 197879 budget. Bloomer reported that $6,800 remained after funding all the priority projects.
The board approved four additional projects at the high school: (1) selected painting, (2) repair and masterkeying of locks to improve security, (3) repairs to restroom plumbing, (4) installation of exhaust fans in the locker rooms to get rid of steam heat.
In addition,^Bloomer was authorized to solicit information on prices of new water coolers. 4
