“All major museums have photography shows and collections, though the older private collections don’t accept it as fine art,” Kilby remarks.
The fact that photographs are easily reproduced, and the fact that anyone can go out and take a photograph conspire to make fine arts photography unacceptable to a small number of people. But the fact remains that fine arts photography is growing. And Tim Kilby is fast becoming recognized as a talented and respected artist, whose work is being shown in galleries around the country.
