Sheriff W. A. Buntin and Rappahannock County have been dismissed as defendants in a S2.5 million lawsuit brought by Myrtle F. Corbin of Flint Hill on behalf of her son, Bobby Lee Corbin. • In a memorandum opinion ,and order from the United States District Cqprt signed ■December 11, Chief U. S. District Judge James C. Nativity
The United Methodist Churches of Rappahannock will present a living nativity on Saturday evening, December 22. from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Mary, Joseph, the infant Jesus, angels, kings and wise men, portrayed by members of the congregation, will assemble on the hillside east of Washington at Mr. and Mrs. George Davis’ shed. The story of the birth of Christ will be narrated every half hour, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Christmas music will be played in between the tellings of the Christmas story.
In addition, the nativity scene can be viewed from Route 211 without getting out of the car. Travelling west towards the mountains the living nativity is in the right hand side of the highway.
