Planning an excursion in the Old Dominion on foot, bike or by canoe can be as easy as admiring a sunrise. The Virginia Commission of Outdoor Recreation now offers a series of three information sheets titled. “Virginia: A Great Place to Bike; Hike; and Canoe."’ ■
COR Director Rob Blackmore said an increase in the number of requests for information prompted the publications. While figures show a trend of increased participation in most outdoor recreation activities, biking, hiking, and canoeing are especially popular.
