JV Victorious
Coach Bob Edmonson cleared the bench, giving his squad valuable experience, as the JV Panthers trounced Elkton, 49 to 34.
The outcome was never in doubt as Rappahannock scored the first basket and kept the lead until the final buzzer. The Panthers were aheady by nine at the end of the first half and increased the edge to 14 points in the third quarter.
Rappahannock’s JV also came out on top of the JV Elks in rebounding, with Mike Leake pulling in 11 and Lee Anderson grabbin six.
Leake was also top scorer for the JV Panthers with 18, followed by Anderson with nine, Myers with five. Fletcher and Settle with four apiece, Raiford with three and Atkins, Dunn and Brown all with two points each.
