Shannon Streagle was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley and Sarah Kearns and with them attended the Nutcracker at the Lisner Auditorium Friday evening. Mrs. Streagle joined them Sunday and enroute home visited Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart in Herndon.

At Belle Grove
Belle Grove, 180-year-old restored plantation house in Middletown, is holding its Christmas open house through Sunday. •
The interior and exterior decorations are handmade of natural materials and typify the period when the builder Isaac Hite and his family celebrated the holiday there.
The house is lit by candles in the evening and 18th century Christmas carols are presented. Hours are from 6 to 9 p.m.
