Give me .Washington'^ distress* t over that of most other communities any'day! I have yet to tell anyone that Washington is our near town and address who hasn't responded, “Oh, I love Washington. What an attractive community!” People choose to live in Rappahannock County. 1 can only surmise that its inhabitants would rather be distressed here than moving upward and onward elsewhere.
