With four games under their belts, the RCHS JV Panthers have compiled a 2-2 record under the leadership of coach Bob Edmonson.

Coach Edmonson thinks his team is capable of improving their record and attributes the losses primarily to “too many costly turnovers.” He added that ball handling abilities should improve further into the season.

The JV squad has respectable size and this accounts for their strong rebounding power, according to Edmonson. The Panthers have averaged 24 rebounds a game and are looking to improve this statistic.

The team also has experience that will prove a valuable asset as the season progresses. Of the 14 players on the team, seven are returners who make up the JV’s starting five.
