The 1980 Selective Service Registration for men bom in 1%0 and 1961 has been completed. but late registrations continue to be accepted at any U.S. Post Office from men who failed to register because of special circumstances, or through oversight or misun derstanding.
The next formal registration period will be the week of January 5, 1981, for men born in 1962. From that point forward. Selective Service will resume con tinuous registration of men within 30 days of their 18th birthday.
