The Rothrocks have been one of her regular clients from the start, with Edna doing furniture for the judge's office in Fairfax as well as pieces for the family home in Viewtown. She’s also refinished and reupholstered piece after piece for Judge Rayner Snead and his wife Lois.
Edna’s services are so much in demand that friendly antagonism developed between the barristers’ wives. “When I was too busy to get on some things for her, Nancy Rothrock said she was going to call Lois Snead and tell her that I’d died,” Edna chuckled.
Her work has been so popular that she can’t begin to remember all of her clients. “There are too many. I’ve been doing it too long. I used to keep their names all written down until it got monotonous.”
