Conference Set
The 4th annual Virginia Peach Growers Conference will be held Thursday and Friday, December 4 and 5, at the Ingleside Red Carpet Inn, Staunton.
Sponsored by VPI’s Extension Service and the Virginia State Horticultural Society, the conference program includes presentations on direct marketing, peach thinning by mechanical and chemical means, effects of tree planting depth. peach fungicides, how to make money growing peaches, pest control, the tree row volume concept of spraying and peach varieties.
