Tompkins, center on guitar, and the Cut-Ups performed at the Rappahannock County Historical Society’s apple day festivities two years ago and at Washington’s 4th of July celebration last year. Next week’s picking and strumming will begin at 8 p.m. at Mountain Magic Theater in Washington. Tickets are $3.50 in advance, available at Nature’s Foods, and $4 at the door with children under 12 admitted for half price.
