As you know the state of Virginia held elections for positions of Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and House of Delegates. The teachers were curious to see how the candidates would fare if the student body was the only voting population. The results of the school wide election are as follows: Governor: Charles Robb, 163; Marshall Coleman, 155. House of Delegates: Richard Catron, 32; Andy Guest, 244.
Miss Griffin instigated the school wide election and also held mock election in her U.S. Government classes.
Mr. Robb was not the only winner at Rappahannock High this week. The Cross Country team brought home a second place trophy from the Skyline District meet held at Stonewall.
The Girls Varsity Basketball team ended their season Monday evening with a quarter final loss to Luray in the district tournament. Where the girls left off the guys have picked up. The
