livestock Involvement

New school board member Randall Updike of Washington is married and the father of two children. A graduate of Rappahannock County High School and VPI, he was a member of Alpha Zeta, Block and Bridle Club, livestock judging team and meats judging team while at Tech.

From 1964-66, Updike was employed by VPI’s Cooperative Extension Service and from 1966 to the present by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
