Members of the Wakefield School Forensic and Debate Team competed in the Fourth Annual University of Virginia Forensic Tournament thz past weekend in Charlottesville.
Students placing above average ratings in several individual events were Scotty Reid, Christopher Ingle and Sid Rothrock, Extemporaneous Speaking; Larry Doherty, Poetry Interpretation; Ophelia Von Ludwig, Larry Doherty and Sid Rothrock, Dramatic Interpretation.
This was the first competition for the fledgling Wakefield team under the direction of Mrs. Midge
