Residents who participate in Rappahannock’s Senior Citizen Nutrition Site program are giving away a hand made afghati.
Jane Pullin' of Culpeper donated the double bed sized afghan that she knitted with 35 skeins of wool in fall colors of orange, brown, green and yellow. For information, contact Faye Crescenti at her home (3477098), or at the nutrition site, Hampton Inn near Washington, on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday (987-8444).
Crescenti, site supervisor for Rappahannock, is looking for volunteers willing to put on half-hour programs at the site, featuring oral presentations, home movies of far away places, music or anything else which may be of interest. Persons may contact Crescenti at the two numbers listed above or through the Area Agency on Aging at 825-6494.
