SPTA Meets
Rappahannock’s StudentParent-Teacher Association held its second meeting of the year October 21 at Rappahannock County High School. About 40 people attended, including students representatives.
Several interest groups were formed: science and math equipment, playground equipment, bus problems, aiiult education, high school concerns, parent help in the classroom, collating information from the StudentParent-Teacher survey taken in September.

SPTA meetings will be held the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. The next session will be November 18 at the elementary school.
Members will work in the different interest groups and plan fund-raising activities. Fund-raising events scheduled to date include a sock-hop at the elementary school on November 21 and « flea market in the spring at the Fodderstack Race.
Anyone in the community who wants to give support to quality public education in Rappahannock County is' invited to join SPTA.
